1. About Gaykitesurf and the Trip

Gaykitesurf is a private, non-profit group of friends who share a love for kitesurfing, travel, and community experiences.
This trip to Preá is organized informally by members of the group without any professional, commercial, or business purpose.
No services are sold, no profit is made, and no one is employed or compensated in any way for organizing this trip.

This initiative is designed exclusively for private, personal participation, and not open to the general public.
Any financial contributions collected are used only to cover the participant’s own share of travel costs (e.g., accommodation, transport, activities).
There is no fee for service, no agency relationship, and no business activity involved.
This complies with legal and tax requirements for private cost-sharing among friends.

2. Bookings and Refund Policy

• A free pre-booking period is established for those who wish to reserve their spot, valid from the date of publication of this website until May 5th, 2025.

• Starting May 5th, the full payment for the reservation will be required to confirm participation in the trip.
  Once the payment is made, it will be non-refundable under any circumstances.

• If a participant is unable to attend, they may find another person to take over their reservation. The transaction and agreement must be arranged directly between the two individuals.

3. Participant Responsibility

Each participant is:

• Personally responsible for managing their travel documents, health, safety, and well-being.

• Encouraged to arrange comprehensive personal travel insurance covering:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Trip cancellations or changes

  • Theft or loss

  • Accidents or injuries

• Expected to respect local laws, customs, and the spirit of camaraderie within the group.

4. Waiver of Liability

By joining the trip, participants acknowledge and agree that:

• Gaykitesurf organizers and volunteers accept no liability or responsibility for accidents, injuries, illnesses, theft, property loss, delays, cancellations, or any other incidents that may occur before, during, or after the trip.

• Participation is at the sole risk of each individual traveler.

5. No Professional Services

Gaykitesurf:

• Does not provide professional travel services, guided tours, accommodation management, transportation services, or any form of organized commercial travel offering.

• Acts only as a facilitator to enable friends to coordinate shared travel plans informally.

6. Non-Commercial, Non-Business Disclaimer (for Tax Authorities)

For the avoidance of doubt:

• Gaykitesurf trips are strictly non-commercial and not organized with a profit motive.

• No participants or organizers offer goods or services for sale.

• Any exchange of money covers only individual direct costs related to the trip.

• There is no provision of services in a professional or business sense.

This structure ensures that the trip remains a private, non-taxable activity under applicable laws governing non-commercial cost-sharing among individuals.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and/or participating in the Preá trip, you confirm that you:

• Have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

• Accept that participation is voluntary, private, and non-commercial.

• Acknowledge that you travel at your own risk and release Gaykitesurf organizers from any and all claims related to the trip.
